Lifeguard Services
We hire, schedule, pay and manage lifeguard staff for your pool for lifeguard services Pinehurst North Carolina.
To make your pool safe, we provide lifeguard certification training, perform safety audits and provide safety communications throughout the season for lifeguard services Pinehurst North Carolina.
In addition, our pool operators will ensure a healthy swimming environment for your pool commercial facilty
1. Unlock all necessary gates and doors;
2. Test chlorinePH, check chlorinators, adjust as needed. Record findings in the log book;
3. Vacuum the pool and skim the surface;
4. Clean all skimmers and check pressure in filter tanks, backwash if necessary;
5. Hose off any tables and chairs if necessary and check garbage cans and pick up litter;
6. Bring all safety equipment out to pool side;
7. Make sure the sign-in sheet is out for the residents/members and/or guests to sign

DURING POOL HOURS:
1. Test the chlorine and PH at least once every hour and record it. Keep the chlorine at a level of at least 1.0 (1.5 is ideal) and no more than 3.0;
2. Make sure all pool rules are being enforced;
3. NEVER turn your back on the pool and NEVER sit on a lounge chair;
4. If two lifeguards are on duty at the same time, they must sit on opposite sides of the pool. NEVER SIT TOGETHER.
5. Sit as close to the edge of the pool as possible (i.e. don’t sit with a table between you and the pool);
6. If there is a kiddie pool, check to make sure that the children are being watched by their parent(s). You are NOT responsible to guard the kiddie pool unless instructed otherwise;
7. Notify Central Office: 919-332-1121- or – Notify Eastern Office: 910-499-0620 of any major problems/complaints.

CLOSING:
1. Straighten chairs; put down the umbrellas; put all equipment away.
2. Put the garbage out or handle as instructed (please ask for procedure if you are not sure) 3. Make a list of any supplies (chemicals, bathroom supplies, sign-in sheets, etc.) that are running low and call Aqua Operators Office (201-332-1047) so you can have them as soon as possible
4. Turn down the chlorinators unless otherwise instructed;
5. Lock all doors and gates and Return keys if necessary.

PROCEDURES DURING RAIN AND/OR INCLEMENT WEATHER:
1. Report to work at your scheduled time and stay there (unless otherwise notified);
2. Test chlorine and PH as usual and record; 3. Scrub the tiles around the top of the pool, etc. 4. Most important – DO NOT LEAVE CLOCKING IN AND OUT ALL EMPLOYEES OF Aqua Operators lifeguard services Pinehurst North Carolina MUST clock in and out from their post at the beginning and end of each shift. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS. Failure to do so WILL lead to disciplinary action.
